FRISCO SQUARE MIXED USE
Frisco Square started as a 60-acre walkable European-style mixed-use community located in Frisco, TX along the Dallas North Tollway. Designed by David M. Schwartz, whose work includes the American Airlines Center in Dallas, the Ballpark in Arlington, and the Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, along with O’Brein & BOKA Powell whose notable work includes The Star in Frisco.
Wolverine purchased the property in 2004 at approximately 30% developed, positioning itself on the ground floor of the project and surrounding burgeoning development in the area. The project was completed over the next 8 years and ultimately all sold in 2012. Wolverine arranged the debt financing and was the GP equity owner.
Wolverine went on to complete The Boulevard Apartments in 2009 and the Tower at Frisco in 2014-15. Today Frisco Square includes 147 acres, with over 2,000 apartment units, 400,000 sf of office, and 200,000 sf of ground-floor retail in 4 distinct districts, and continues to enhance the city’s original downtown district.
