Wolverine Interests developed the initial four multifamily complexes comprised of approximately 1,000 units in the mid-1990’s of what is now known as the Shops at Legacy. The Shops started as a retail strip but struggled to gain traction due to low traffic to the site. Wolverine was an early visionary and recognized that for the area to be successful, the first and most critical component was to have residents in walkable proximity to the shops and restaurants.

Wolverine’s multifamily development was the spark needed for Shops at Legacy to evolve into the beautiful live, work, play atmosphere it has become today, and one of the area’s premier suburban urban designed communities.

Wolverine arranged all financing and was the GP equity partner. Wolverine successfully sold all the projects in the late 1990’s.
