Wolverine Interests is a Dallas, TX commercial real estate investment firm focused on office and multifamily development, office acquisition & re-positioning, and single tenant properties in select Dallas sub-markets.

Led by a senior investment and management team with 40 years average experience in broad-based commercial real estate as developers, owners, and operators. 

COMPANY HISTORY

1980's

Pioneers of Tenant Rep Industry

In 1982, Jim joined Roger Staubach as a founding member of The Staubach Company and served as their CFO where he designed, recapitalized, and launched the strategic plan of pioneering the tenant representation industry. The company quickly grew from 5 people in one Dallas office to over 1,200 people across 50 offices nationwide.
1990's

Financial Services & Development Expansion

Jim became President of TSC and formed their Financial Services Division to pursue corporate-based financing for large users of real estate. The division initiated $3 billion of financing for clients around the world which led to TSC acting as principal in over $8 billion of sale leaseback purchases which were primarily sold into the 1031 tax-free exchange market. Jim, along with Roger Staubach and Robert Shaw, developed over 8,000 multifamily units and developed or purchased and sold tens of millions square feet of office space with TSC.
2000's

Formation of Wolverine Interests - Development Focused

In 2001, Jim formed Wolverine Interests where he acts as managing principal in financing, development, and asset management of numerous multifamily, office, and large mixed-use projects with private/public partnerships. Some of Jim’s notable projects with Wolverine include Frisco Square – a 60 acre mixed-use development in Frisco, TX; Addison Circle – a 40 acre mixed-use development in Addison, TX; 1,200 multifamily units in Shops at Legacy in Plano, TX; and 2,000 multifamily units in the Uptown Dallas area.
2010's

Continued Mixed-Use Development & Investment Acquisitions

Wolverine continues to facilitate large office, multifamily, and mixed-use development projects mostly in the North Texas and surrounding areas. Wolverine also represents high net worth clients in investment acquisition of large office and multifamily product in the DFW metroplex. Within the last few years, Wolverine has acquired over 3 million square feet of office product along the Dallas North Tollway, George Bush Turnpike, and Las Colinas market.
