Wolverine developed many of the first multifamily projects in the Uptown Dallas submarket before there was any real uptown activity. Wolverine was one of the first to introduce the “wrap product” concept which wraps the complex around the parking garage, maximizing efficiency and tenant safety. Hundreds of restaurants, retail stores, office, and more multifamily quickly followed Wolverine’s lead into the Uptown market which has become one of the most vibrant and affluent areas of DFW today. Wolverine developed over 2,000 units in Uptown through the 1980’s and 1990’s. Wolverine arranged all financing and was the GP equity owner. All Uptown assets were successfully sold by the early 2000’s and still maintain high occupancies today.
